GCHS Family and Consumer Science teacher Cody Mooneyhan will represent Kentucky as the nominee for the National Association of Teachers of FCS (NATFCS) Award of Merit.
The nomination by Mooneyhan’s FCS peers recognizes a member who has made significant contributions to Family and Consumer Sciences, and/or ACTE (Association of Career and Technical Educators), and/or NATFCS and is considered to be an outstanding leader in the field.
The National award will be announced at the ACTE Vision conference in December, with the winner awarded a lifetime membership to NATFCS. Mooneyhan will attend in a dual leadership role, as a member of the KACTE State Board and the KATFCS State Board as FCS Service Area Vice President.
