The GC Tech Center VEX Robotics team of Cooper Justis, James Smith, Logan Kinkade, and Coach JT Burns participated in an ECTC-sponsored scrimmage over the weekend. Through the VEX program students gain valuable hands-on experience in engineering, teamwork, and problem-solving. In competition, teams design, build, and program robots to complete a variety of tasks against competing robots in a limited-space arena.
VEX Robotics equips students with critical skills for college and the workplace, such as coding, mechanical design, and strategic thinking, giving students a competitive edge in STEM fields. It also promotes soft skills such as innovation, collaboration, and leadership, giving students an edge in any field.
