Familiarizing middle schoolers with high school life has long been part of the GCMS tradition as they begin to think about their future, even beyond high school. 8th grade Career Day always features an impressive lineup of local pros to share their education and career journeys in fields ranging from manufacturing to healthcare, law enforcement to welding, and many others. And regardless of the industry, certain skills are required in any workplace. Communication skills, a strong work ethic, and continual learning were the common thread of highly desired qualities for success.
Student leaders also share their insights into the many pathways offered by GCHS and the Technology Center, and the clubs that provide outlets for additional skill-building and leadership growth.
Many thanks to everyone who came out to make this day a success!
